Pipe danger

Most of the 18 blocks at the luxury Parkview complex in Tai Tam have corroded ventilation pipes, an inquest heard. Maintenance worker Chiu Chung, 58, died from head injuries after a 1.7-metre pipe fell on him from the top floor to sixth-floor scaffolding last October. Coroner David Thomas recorded a verdict of accidental death.
