As manufacturers of promotional items, with a signature line in manicure sets, the company has decided to broaden its base to the beauty market.

'In the last few years, we have branched into diverse production lines to eliminate the up and down sales patterns of seasonal premiums. We are eager to participate in exhibitions in order to expose more of our products to a wider range of buyers,' said Helen Chan, senior marketing officer for Far East (Wu's) Industrial.

'We think Cosmoprof will give us a good chance to show our products, especially the nail cleaning products, to the beauty and cosmetics market. We want to expose our products to the professionals who will be visiting the event.

'Besides hair and nail-care products, we also make cosmetic brushes, although this is not our main line.' The company will be testing the market for its products at the fair.

Among the ones it will show is a new line of aluminium manicure cases in different shapes, patterns and sizes. Besides the cases, a wide range of other materials are used to create manicure and nail-cleaning kits and these will be featured in a new catalogue.
