ESF standards in education are high and it is fortunate in the pupils and staff that fill its schools and who generally are so highly motivated.
The overriding feeling for all concerned in ESF must be optimism in the future of Hongkong and the challenges new educational innovations pose in the international setting here.

Primary head teachers from Chinese schools visit with ESF primary heads to talk education. This week Kennedy School welcomes 18 Y7 children from a Chinese primary school into its Y6 classes for a three-day cultural exchange. Next term 24 of our children will undertake a return visit.
All staff need time to meet together and think through the implications for classroom organisation and management that new approaches to learning at primary level pose.
