A SCHOOLGIRL fell 10 floors to her death while taking in the washing from a rack outside her Mongkok home early yesterday. Police believe Cheng Wan-yau, 17, was trying to pick up dried washing that had fallen to the rack on the floor below when she lost her balance.

  The girl's parents are in Canada on a business trip and she was helping to look after her 12-year-old brother and 10-year-old sister, who were last night with an aunt.
