POLICE will distribute 30,000 questionnaires to residents in two Tuen Mun housing estates in an attempt to track down a serial rapist believed to be responsible for several cases in the past six months. The Tuen Mun Divisional Commander, Superintendent Denis Cunningham, assured about 100 residents at a meeting last night in a community centre of On Ting Estate that priority would be given to the case. The latest rape victim was also murdered. Residents will be asked to provide information to be used by 30 officers with the help of an advanced computer system to construct a profile of the suspect and identify his behavioural patterns. Extra police officers would also be deployed to patrol the two estates where 12 burglaries have occurred in the past two months.
