AST COMPUTER has introduced the Adventure! 4200, the latest addition to its line of multimedia home PCs.
Priced at $13,988, it is equipped with 32-megabyte SDRam, three-gigabyte hard disk, 16X CD-ROM and 33.6 kilobits-per-second modem.
The Adventure! 4200 comes bundled with one month of Star Internet and 50 hours of Asia Online Internet access and a range of software such as Microsoft Chinese Windows 95, RichWin and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
ITOK TECHNOLOGIES has launched Macro VirusTrack 6.0, a software product that disables and removes Microsoft Word macro viruses from local area networks (LANs).
Macro VirusTrack is compatible with existing anti-virus software and is updated routinely to detect the latest macro viruses in documents, templates and macros.
The software scans all documents as they are opened and keeps a log file to help track the source of the virus.
