Organised by the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (APA) and St James Settlement (Rehabilitation Division), the 'Creative Movement for Mentally Handicapped' dance course was specially designed for disabled teenagers and adults.

It is also an integrative course, enabling the handicapped to dance with APA students.

'Creative dance enables a dancer to create his own pattern in accordance with music. We find that creative dance enables [the handicapped] to show their potential,' said Eva Choi Doi-kwan, assistant supervisor of the division.

'The mentally handicapped are part of society, we hope they can integrate into society.
