Hongkong's hotels are pitching in to help make the Hongkong Food Festival a success, offering discounts and complimentary drinks and dishes for vistors to the territory.
MORE than 40 hotels in Hongkong are staging their own special festivities or promotions during the Food Festival.
Discounts and complimentary food and beverages are only available to visitors to Hongkong who must produce their passports and a copy of the 1993 Hongkong Food Festival Activities Guide, which is available at the Hongkong Tourist Association (HKTA) information and gift centres.
Hongkong is home to variety and there are dishes to suit every palate from the international cuisines at hotels across the territory.
For lovers of French cuisine, the Metropole Hotel in Kowloon is staging a ''Classic French Country Style Culinary Food and Wine Promotion'' at The Bistro Restaurant until March 31.
The Cafe Concourse at the Hotel Concourse in Mongkok is also staging a French promotion, featuring an a la carte menu and a dinner buffet.
