A Tsuen Wan doctor failed to keep a proper drugs record while waiting to be sentenced for a similar offence, a court heard yesterday.

Philip Chan Chuen-kin, 46, denied charges he failed to keep a proper register and failed to keep dangerous drugs in a locked receptacle.
Tsuen Wan Court heard police on May 29 found 1,100 tablets of dangerous drugs at his clinic were not recorded in a register - at the time Chan was awaiting sentence for not keeping proper records. He was jailed for six months but granted bail to appeal. He faces trial on the new charges in January.
