Three youths stole keys from schoolmates so their homes could be burgled, a court heard yesterday.
The trio and an 18-year-old were said to have taken part in a plot involving stealing keys and obtaining victims' addresses from school handbooks at the Chinese YMCA College, Central.
Lee Ting-fai, 16, denied two counts of theft and Wong Ting-chung, 15, denied three charges of theft and one of conspiracy to commit burglary. Co-accused To Chi-chui, 18, denied four counts of burglary, two of conspiracy to commit burglary and one of attempted burglary. Wan Ling-chiu, 17, has admitted similar charges to those against To and is due to testify against the others.
The alleged offences took place between January and March, the District Court heard. The trial continues before Deputy Judge Stephen Chow Siu-hung.
