Vampire star dies at 47

Film star Lam Ching-ying, who came to fame as in the 1985 Mr Vampire as undertaker Mr Kao who had to deal with a vicious vampire, has died of liver cancer at the age of 47.

Lam, who began his movie career as a stuntman in fighting scenes and worked along aside martial arts legend Bruce Lee in the 1973 kung fu film Enter the Dragon, starred in some 50 movies during his career.
