Proview profit jumps 84.5pc

Computer monitor maker Proview International Holdings says net profit jumped 84.5 per cent to $92.06 million for the year to June after a $14.16 million exceptional gain generated by its initial public offering. Operating profit before the exceptional item rose 56.4 per cent to $86.04 million. A final dividend of three cents is recommended. Earnings per share soared 82 per cent to 23.3 cents.
