We wish to bring to the attention of the authorities concerned that an unhygienic and filthy spot at the junction of Kwong Yung Street and Yin Chong Street, Mongkok, is creating a breeding ground for rats, cockroaches and mosquitoes, a risk to public health.

The refuse, old and dirty furniture and clothes at this place is cleared once a day by the Urban Services Department, but a lot is left behind that cars roll over, thus increasing the nuisance to nearby residents.
In view of this, we suggest that regular visits by a water tank be arranged as often as possible to wash the place, as well as rear lanes and trenches behind the hawkers' stalls.
