Lawsuits mount as suppliers claim from Yaohan Hongkong

Department store operator Yaohan Hongkong Corp is being sued by another five suppliers claiming a total of $5 million on unpaid goods. The suppliers include Kam Po Ladies' Wear, Lee Kum Kee, Yamakawa (HK), New Zealand Milk Products (China) and LKK Marketing Services. This is on top of about 22 writs amounting to $30 million in the past week alleging that the company has failed to pay goods delivered and rents.
