A judge branded a school bus driver who molested his daughter 'worse than an animal' and jailed him for nearly seven years.
The 45-year-old had admitted sexually attacking his daughter five times over a three-year period.
He first struck in 1993, having sex with her when she was just nine, then a year later groped her in their Lok Ma Chau flat. When she was 11, he asked her to perform oral sex on him while her siblings were asleep in the same room.
'Even an animal would not prey on his own child for sexual gratification,' said Deputy Judge Wesley Wong. 'There is absolutely no excuse for what you've done.' The driver's family wept as he was jailed at the Court of First Instance for six years and eight months.
The girl had written two letters to the judge begging mercy for her father, who admitted incest and indecent assault.
