A self-proclaimed prophet and 'friend of the sun' who grabbed a tour guide's breast to teach her God's will, yesterday lost his bid for freedom.
The Court of First Instance dismissed Syed Atta Muhammad's appeal against his indecent assault conviction and three-month sentence to Siu Lam Psychiatric Centre.
Muhammad, 32, told police he groped the 22-year-old because her 'breast was too big' and she 'looked like a prostitute who wanted to seduce him'.
He repeatedly told the tour guide and the officer who arrested him he was sent by God to punish women like her.
The 'knight from God' pleaded not guilty in South Kowloon Court but was convicted in September.
At that hearing the court heard the tour guide was waiting for a friend outside a Tsim Sha Tsui shop, dressed in a knee-length, short-sleeved black suit with a high neckline. Suddenly the defendant walked up to her and grabbed her breast before turning to cross the road, acting as if nothing had happened.
