Hutchison Whampoa's Port of Felixstowe says it has handled two million teus (20-ft equivalent unit) this year.

Britain's busiest port said it had passed the mark six weeks earlier this year than in 1996 when it became the first British port to reach the milestone.
Felixstowe, which is owned by Hutchison Ports (UK), said: 'Demand since January has put us on course for yet another record year. All forecasts indicate this growth will continue into next year.'
