Staff trashing green policy

I have noticed on two occasions that rubbish collection staff at the General Post Office, in Central, have mixed non-recyclable rubbish along with paper from the green recycle boxes, putting them together in black plastic bags.

Either the Post Office's recycling effort is a cynical attempt at appearing 'green' while doing nothing, or its members of staff are unaware of there being any green policy.

In either case, if what I've seen is a widespread practice, the so-called 'green boxes' are nothing more than extra rubbish bins.

I have also noticed a similar mixing of recyclable and non-recyclable material many times, with regard to the recycle boxes and bins located in Discovery Bay.
