A fourth drugs hearing has been hit by allegations that officers from the same police team planted evidence.
The District Court yesterday adjourned a trafficking case after the defence made fresh claims against the Mongkok Special Duties Squad.
Barrister Anita Ma alleged Constable Lee Wah-keung had planted drugs on defendant Sze To Yiu-cho.
It was the fourth time in just over a month squad members had been accused in court of framing defendants and the third time Constable Lee had been named.
Ms Ma asked Judge Chua Fi-lan to delay the hearing so she could obtain transcripts from a drugs trial last month before Judge Donald Christie in which the defendant was acquitted following similar allegations against Constable Lee.
She told the court she wanted to call Constable Lee, whose name was not on the witness list, to testify.
