Hopewell finalising US$1.33b loan for Tanjung power station

Hopewell Holdings says it is finalising arrangements for a US$1.33 billion syndicated loan to finance the building of its Tanjung Jati B power station in Indonesia. The 1,320-megawatt plant is 20 per cent built. Hopewell, which has an 80 per cent interest in the project, has received preliminary approval from the Indonesian authorities to build a Tanjung Jati C power station.
