Henderson Land Development is seeking government consent to pre-sell two unfinished residential projects in Fanling and Tseung Kwan O involving 6,096 units.

The Lands Department said Henderson's application for its 2,784-unit Laura Plaza in Fanling is pending approval, while its Metro City phase two project with 3,312 units in Tseung Kwan O is also being processed.

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) has also submitted a bid for pre-sale of its 432-unit Symphony Bay phase two development in Ma On Shan.

The three bids submitted by big developers were among 14 consent applications involving 16,285 residential units being processed by the Lands Department at the end of last month.

Another 11 applications for commercial projects in respect of at least 1,318 commercial units were pending approval.

The residential projects include Sino Land's Majestic Park phase one comprising 476 units in To Kwa Wan, China Overseas Land and Investment's 339-unit Dragon View in Ho Man Tin and Hong Kong Parkview Group's 84-unit joint venture Tycoon Place in Tai Po.

The Lands Department issued three consents last month for the pre-sale of Cheung Kong (Holdings') 1,020-unit Vista Paradiso phase two in Ma On Shan, Sino Land's 736-unit Maritime Bay in Tseung Kwan O and SHKP's 792-unit Chelsea Heights phase one in Tuen Mun.
