Serial sex slasher preyed on schoolgirls

A sadistic serial slasher raped or wounded 10 women and girls in an 18-month reign of terror, a court heard yesterday.

He ordered a girl of 17 to choose between 'her face or her virginity', senior government counsel Joseph To said.

She was then slashed in the buttocks with a paper cutter and had her head wrapped in a plastic bag after she refused to give her name or school, the Court of First Instance heard.

Computer operator Cheung Pak-hung, 21, blamed his attacks on psychiatric problems he had suffered since he was 13. He admitted two charges of rape, six of wounding with intent, four of robbery and one of attempted robbery.

His lawyer Sze Kin said Cheung had a 'strong and unlimited interest and desire' to touch girls in school uniforms.

Cheung attacked 10 victims, aged from 14 to 27, between August 1995 and January this year, Mr Justice Wally Yeung Chun-kuen heard.

Two teenage girls were attacked on the same day in Shamshuipo last year.
