Beijing: The Nangang Jiangsu Dragons shot down high-flying Bayi Rockets 83-80 in an exciting game in the Hilton Chinese Basketball League at the Nanjing Steel Gymnasium.

 The Dragons played Hu Weidong, Li Qingshan, Yuan Zhinan and Ding Tie on-court for the entire game only switching between the two foreign players, Charlie Mandt and James Hodges, to hand the Rockets their first defeat of the season.

 Two-time Hilton League Most Valuable Player, Hu, led the scoring honours with 27 points while James Hodges chipped in with 17 points and 16 rebounds.



Dragons shoot down Rockets
