Christmas is just around the corner. Why not make it worthwhile this year by helping those in need? Operation Santa Claus, the annual charity programme organised by the South China Morning Post and RTHK's Radio 3, is aiming to raise $5 million for the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong.

Your contribution will go towards expanding a hotline for youths with emotional problems, providing support for single-parent families, and counselling mainland immigrant children.

You do not need to be a millionaire to contribute to this worthwhile cause.

All it takes is a caring heart and some devoted effort to make it a special Christmas this year for others - and a more meaningful winter for yourself.

Young Post is encouraging school students, together with their friends and teachers, to organise fund-raising activities at their schools. Up for grabs are two computers for the school which raises the most money for Operation Santa Claus.
