Linen and garment supplier Gilbert Holdings posted a 21 per cent jump in first-half profit to September as it expanded its market share. The company made a net profit of $17 million on a 32 per cent surge in turnover to $373 million. Fully diluted earnings per share were four cents. An interim dividend of one cent will be paid.
