Hong Kong are looking to restore their pride when they play the China National Games Under-20 team at the Hong Kong Sports Institute this afternoon.

The newly rebuilt SAR team were shocked when they lost 2-1 to 'pub team' amateurs Macau in their first friendly in the enclave last Sunday.

It was an inauspicious start for Brazilian coach Sebastiao Pereira Araujo, who said he would use today's friendly to observe those who did not play last Sunday.

'There will be a few changes in the lineup today because I have to see all players play,' said the former Brazilian assistant national coach.

'We will continue to play the 4-4-2 format which the players are most comfortable with. I don't want to change the format now because there is not enough time.' Araujo is likely to field Instant-Dict midfielder Tim O'Shea, who did not appear against Macau, in defence to replace Five-One-Seven's young defender Lai Ngar-yin.

South China right-winger Lee Kin-wo will be joined by Instant-Dict's Bulgarian Dimitre Kalkanov, Sing Tao's Mark Grainger and Happy Valley forward Paul Wood.
