Weihai Power project progresses

New York-listed Shandong Huaneng Power Development said the first generator for phase two of the Weihai Power Plant Phase, in which it has a 60 per cent stake, was completed on December 27. The project will have two 300-megawatt coal-fired generators. The first generator, Unit 3, is expected to begin commercial operation in March.
