Citybus Corporate Communication Manager, Christine Lau, defended the company's commitment to improvement (South China Morning Post, December 28) and cited the services to Stanley. While the overall service is good, the new-model coach has a design flaw - all 'stop' bells are at the front. Passengers at the back, especially the elderly and those with children, have great difficulty reaching the bell. Given that the route is sloped and winding, it becomes a hazard to passengers and drivers.
