In a suspected double suicide, a property agent and his wife being investigated over a $1.5 million deception case died when their luxury car plunged into Castle Peak Bay. Wong Chi-hang, 23, who had been arrested by Tuen Mun police this month, had been due to report back to police today. After hearing a splash, two fishermen saw the Saab, with Wong and 22-year-old Ng Man-yee inside, sink about seven metres from the shore. Fire services' divers and Marine Police took about an hour to recover the bodies. Wong, who was believed to be driving, was found trapped in the back seat, while Ng was seated in the front passenger seat. Both were certified dead on arrival at Tuen Mun Hospital. The couple reportedly owned a property agency in Kin Fat Street, Tuen Mun. The case was initially classified as a suspected suicide. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out today to determine the cause of death.
