Chan Chiu-kwong, 36, was yesterday jailed for two years and eight months after admitting the St Valentine's Day assault in a Wan Chai restaurant.
Lau Ho-lin, 40, told the District Court that he was jabbed about 10 times in the back in a toilet at the Tai Woo Seafood Restaurant last year.
Although he was in pain and felt dizzy, Mr Lau was still able to pursue his attacker.
Chan was arrested outside the restaurant and confessed he had stunned his victim in an attempt to steal his wallet.
