Among the events was a luncheon presentation with Dr Judith Rodin, president of the University of Pennsylvania, a lunch panel with speakers from Morgan Stanley and Tokai Asia and a power breakfast with former US assistant secretary of state Richard Holbrooke.
Being the influential, high-powered organisation that it is, the Asia Society attracted impressive crowds to these events. Those who turned up also enjoyed mingling.
