Mr Justice Thomas Gall said Fong Tsz-hung, 18, had interfered with someone without her consent and that an unconscious woman was entitled to believe she would not be attacked.
Fong was convicted of rape and assault by a Court of First Instance jury on January 7 after he had pleaded not guilty to both charges.
He was sentenced to four years in jail for rape and three months for indecent assault, to run concurrently.
