Two elderly men are in hospital with cholera, believed to have been contracted from local shellfish.
The Department of Health said cockles seemed to be the culprit. 'We are tracing the source now, where they bought them,' a spokesman said.
The men, aged 76 and 77, are in stable condition at Princess Margaret Hospital.
Both had eaten cockles that had not been properly cooked.
The year's cholera tally now stands at three, with one imported case reported last month. Last year there were 14 cases.
