Old hand James Capel bows out of HSBC's equities moniker

HSBC Investment Bank yesterday said as of April 1, the HSBC James Capel name will be dropped in favour of HSBC Securities for all of its equity broking and research activities. Founded in 1775, the James Capel name is one of the oldest in London's broking community. James Capel Investment Management will not however be affected by the name change.
