Playing games can be more than just fun. To prove it, staff and students at City University have been invited to take part in an activity on campus called Play With Me. Today's fun, at CityU's Covered Terrace B, is being organised by a group of final-year students in the Higher Diploma in English for Professional Communications course. The aim is to demonstrate that people of different skill levels can play together in harmony. Students will be trying to draw attention to their non-profit organisation, TREATS, whose mission is to promote the development of all children - able and disabled - through recreation and play. One of the project members said the activity had two main aims. One was to invite students and staff to enjoy the games TREATS were laying on. The other, from the view of a disabled child, was to ask people to play with him or her. A three-day exhibition at CityU, introducing the aims and services of TREATS, will also finish tomorrow. On March 1, a similar exhibition will be held at Sha Tin New Town Hall Plaza.
