About 5,000 tickets will go on sale on February 21 for next month's Credit Suisse First Boston Hong Kong Sevens, according to a senior Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) official. Dave Roberts, HKRFU commercial manager, said yesterday that they would also lift the two tickets per person restriction for the second public sales. 'We might not have any limits . . . we may increase it to four per person depending on the turnout,' said Roberts. The HKRFU has been forced to hold a second public sales after last Sunday's sale resulted in fewer than half the 8,500 adult tickets being sold. 'There have been a lot of people calling up in the past few days for tickets. We are optimistic that all the tickets will be sold off before the event,' added Roberts. 'I think the reason why many people did not turn up last Sunday was because the large queues of past Sevens put them off. They did not want to queue up and then find tickets were sold out as happened in 1996.'
