The monkey first sighted in Sheung Wan was spotted yesterday in Kennedy Town. But people were warned not to approach it. 'We're dealing with a monkey who is very confused and frightened, given the alien surroundings it is in,' said So Ping-man, conservation officer at Agriculture and Fisheries Department. 'Our advice is leave the animal alone and notify the police immediately.' The macaque, first sighted on Tuesday, is believed to have strayed from Kowloon Hills, where a colony of about 900 monkeys, Indian macaques and long-tailed macaques, live. The department has ruled out attempting to move the colony to a more remote site.
