Georgie walks off fame game

If you see someone who looks like music legend Georgie Fame hiking on Cheung Chau, don't do a double take - it probably is him.

Georgie, in town for five nights performing to sell-out audiences at the Jazz Club in Lan Kwai Fong, told me he enjoyed walking on Cheung Chau.

'If I get time off from rehearsals I'll probably hop on a ferry and go walking,' he said.

Georgie, fresh from playing with Bob Dylan and Van Morrison at New York's Madison Square Garden, finds Hong Kong 'a great place to walk in as there is so much to see'.

When not travelling the world playing, he enjoys a quiet time on his farm in Britain's West Country.

'When I am not working, I don't listen to music for days,' said Georgie.
