SING Tao's flying forward Chan Tsz-kong could be pressed into action for his team's critical Ericsson League soccer encounter against Happy Valley at the Mongkok Stadium today.

The live-wire left wing has missed his side's past two matches and is still not fully recovered from a knee injury.

But Sing Tao are desperate to take all three points from today's match to stay in touch with league leaders Instant-Dict and are likely to start with Chan occupying his usual position on the flank.

'He's still 50-50 but we think he should be okay for [today],' said Sing Tao convenor Michael Shek Kam-wah.

'It is going to be a very hard game for us because Happy Valley have been very strong all season. We need to have our strongest side and that is why we want to start with Chan,' Shek added.

Sing Tao, something of a surprise package this season, are 11 points behind Instant after 13 games. A win today will put them level with second-placed Happy Valley, who are eight points behind the Dickies on 26 points.
