Millennium in tobacco deal

Mainland trading firm Millennium Group, its shares suspended since December 19, said it had been in discussions with Yanuar Joeng over the acquisition of a 75 per cent stake in Worldwide Golden Leaf, which exports Hongtashan cigarettes. The deal would be settled through a new share issue, with the vendor becoming the controlling shareholder upon completion.
