Harris Myers might lose his gratuity of more than $460,000 if he is subject to disciplinary action, a senior official said yesterday.

Secretary for Civil Service Lam Woon-kwong said his bureau would decide whether to take disciplinary action against Myers after studying the court's judgment on the case.
'If the bureau decides to sack him, Mr Myers would lose his gratuity,' Mr Lam said.
Myers yesterday complained the Government was refusing to pay him outstanding wages and holiday pay.
'The Government is withholding every possible emolument I was due to expect,' he said.

Myers described the total amount owing as 'a lot - hundreds of thousands of dollars'.
