Wynand Claassen

Former Springbok captain Wynand Claassen will be the keynote speaker at the third Valley Long Lunch on March 27, the first day of the Hong Kong Sevens.

Claassen will accompany a number of other well-known international faces, including former Wallaby Simon Poidevin, at the $750 per head lunch at the Furama Hotel.

'All proceeds raised will go to the Hong Kong Cancer Fund and to Dave Crosbie, a former Valley stalwart who now has cancer,' said Valley official Jason Cornell.

The Valley Long Lunch began two years ago as a means to raise funds for Richard Dixon, a prop who broke his neck in a First Division game.
