Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management (Hong Kong) proposed liquidating the Nicholas-Applegate Pakistan Growth Fund as it is too small to provide an efficient investment vehicle. Shareholders of the fund are being offered an optional free switch of their investments to the Nicholas-Applegate International Umbrella Fund. An extraordinary meeting has been scheduled for April 3.
