Wah Tak Fung Holdings today will offer 22 units at its grade-B office building in North Point at a relatively low price of $2,998 per square foot in an attempt to boost buying interest.
The developer will also provide other incentives such as waiving the stamp duties and the buyers' legal fees.
The 25-storey office building, Workingson Centre on Chun Yeung Street, has 98 units measuring between 221 sq ft and 457 sq ft.
In addition, banks and financial institutions will provide special mortgage offers for purchasers with monthly payment of as low as $5,000.
Centaline Property Agency senior sales manager Peter Chan Suk-chung said there were no transactions in the district that could be used as a comparison as office sales were down.
Most developers have leased offices due to weak buying interest, he said, adding that average office space prices have dropped 20 per cent from their peak last year.
