The Furama Hotel won't have much respite after the Rugby Sevens players leave. Staff will then prepare for the 10th annual Winpac (Wines of the Pacific Rim) from April 1-4, a prestigious event with wines from Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Chile, Argentina, South Africa and China.

Vinophiles can choose between two wine dinners on Tuesday. La Brasserie at the Marco Polo will showcase Australia's Rosemount Estate; the dinner is $480. For reservations call 2113-7925.

At the Kowloon Shangri-La guests can participate in a champagne tasting before proceeding to Margaux, where they will drink different vintages of Dom Perignon and Moet et Chandon throughout the meal. Call 2733-8750.
