A three-month probe into bribery allegations involving Lai Sun Group chairman Lim Por-yen is set to conclude on Monday with an announcement from the prosecution.
The case prosecutor said 83-year-old Mr Lim, who is also ATV chairman, would be named as a suspect in the case.
But a formal court indictment would not be issued for another few days, said Taipei district prosecutor Hsueh Wei-ping.
Mr Lim was suspected of criminal activity, Mr Hsueh said.
'We will be announcing on Monday the results of the investigation.' Documentation related to the case would be turned over to the Taipei District Court on Tuesday and an indictment would probably follow soon afterwards, he said.
Mr Lim was arrested at Taipei's international airport on December 16 as he was making his way home after attending Taiwan's Golden Horse film awards as a VIP guest.
