Godfrey Blott, managing director of First Pacific Davies (FPD) Holdings, has been seconded to London to oversee the expansion of FPD Savills into the British, European and US markets.
Last year FPD took a 20 per cent stake in the British property group Savills, now called FPD Savills.
'These investments in the UK represent something in the region of $470 million,' said David Davies, executive chairman of FPD. 'And we have always made it a policy to provide strong management in areas in which we have made a sizeable strategic investment.' Mr Davies said Mr Blott's secondment would provide a cohesive East-West link between FPD's operations in Asia and their FPD Savills operation in Europe.
In other appointments, David Wong has become FPD's chief executive and Seymour-Jones is managing director of FPD Property Management Services. Simon Haynes becomes managing director of FPD while Raymond Lee and Neil Palmer becomes joint deputy managing directors.
