Hong Kong's first exhibition of Icelandic art is now on view at the Museum of Art. 'Icelandic Painting of the 20th Century' features 49 paintings by 28 artists. The works cover a variety of subject matter and techniques, Provisional Urban Councillor Ada Wong Ying-kay, who officiated at the opening ceremony, said. These included figurative paintings portraying Icelandic landscapes and people, which testified to the great diversity of contemporary Icelandic art, she said. The exhibition will close on April 19.
