The retiring Director of Regional Services, Adolf Hsu Hsung, was yesterday appointed managing director of the new bus company. The 60-year-old, who only began his retirement leave yesterday, was confident his public service provided good experience for the top job at New World First Bus Services. 'I've had 40 years of experience with the Government, with most of the time being the head of a department. The jobs were similar to that of a managing director or chief executive of a private company. 'I've had to deal with members of the public in the past and my new job will also be related to people's everyday life. I believe I can do it well,' Mr Hsu said.
