The year is 2013. All technology and the infrastructure of everyday life have been erased.
The populace has splintered into numerous primitive townships, struggling to survive independently and unable to communicate with each other.
This fragile existence is threatened by an 'army' led by General Bethlehem (Will Patton), who dominates the townships by forcefully recruiting the stronger survivors. The balance of power is upset by an unlikely hero - a drifter who stimulates an upsurge of hope for the future when he impersonates a government representative - a postman (Kevin Costner) in order to gain food and shelter.
The mail he carries becomes a symbol of hope and a reconnection with the past.
The Postman is showing at Silvercord, Astor, UA Shatin, UA Queensway, UA Times Square.
Ernie and Lars Smuntz are surprised to inherit an old mansion from their father. What's more, the dilapidated homestead is an architectural masterpiece worth millions. However, the house is occupied by a tenacious mouse, who has no intention of leaving. Two grown men versus one teensy, weensy mouse. It's no contest . . . for the mouse? Check it out in Mouse Hunt. It opens today at Broadway Mongkok, UA Whampoa, GV Mongkok, GV Hollywood, Chinachem, Gateway, Paris, London, New York.
